Why must they always use a black person to represent licorice/dark chocolate in Italian advertisements?

I heard an ad on the radio yesterday that went something like this: "Green...trees, grass, countryside. Blue....the sea, the sky. Black.... the night, Obama....
They always use black people in the most blatant ways in advertising. It's so backwater. BTW, will be in Rome in December, GET READY.
