Stuffed animals?
What's with full-grown Italian adults and their obsession with stuffed animals? In my many years on the Boot, I've seen males and females alike with stuffed animals in their bedrooms, cars, etc. And when I say "stuffed animals" I'm not talking about the modern kind, I'm talking about straight-up, old school kids' toys. I find it creepy and corny at the same time. Same holds true for the many Italian adults who wear Disney-themed clothing. Shouldn't there be an age limit on that stuff?
Has anyone else noticed this phenomenon?

Sure have - and I have a theory: the worst drivers out there are those with Audi A3s and / or stuffed toys in the back. I once witnessed an entire back shelf occupied by all 7 dwarfs! Crazy!
If I ever saw kids toys in my potential boyfriend's (and he didn't have any children) bedroom I would be, uhm, not turned on.
That said I have a Gund polar bear in my closet. I refuse to get rid of it because my baby sister gave it to me. However, it's in the closet not sitting on my bed like I'm back in college.
I don't understand the stuff animals in the cars thing.
What is that about?
Emmina- Interesting theory, I'm gonna see if the same holds true in Rome!
NYC- Yeah, can we say creepy??? I have a stuffed animal from when I was a kid too but like you said, it's not on display. It's stashed away with old photo albums and such. I'm hoping someone can shed some light on this stuffed animal phenomenon because it's a mystery to me!!
